1 fryer, cut up
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup orange juice
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon bottled hot pepper sauce
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 pound Braised Mushrooms
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
2. Coat chicken with flour.
3. Mix remaining ingredients, exept mushrooms, together thoroughly.
4. Place chicken in a shallow baking dish and pour sauce over.
5. Bake for 2 hours, basting regularly.
6. The last 15 minutes add mushrooms and stir in thoroughly.
Braised mushrooms
2 tablespoon margarine
1 pound mushrooms, washed and patted
dry, salt, Freshly ground pepper
1. Melt margarine in large frying pan. Stir in mushrooms and allow to simmer, covered, in their own juice until just tender. Add salt, and pepper to taste. Eat as is or use Chicken with Orange sauce.
