2c. Flour
1t. baking soda
1t. salt
1c. butter or margarine
1 ½ c. sugar
1 egg
1t. vanilla
1 ½ c. Chocolate chips
1c. chopped nuts
1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Mix flour, baking soda and salt; set aside
3. In large bowl cream butter until fluffy
4. Gradually beat in sugar. Continue creaming
5. Beat in egg and vanilla until blended
6. Stir in flour mixture, chocolate chips and nuts until well mixed
7. Shape in 2’ balls; place 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets (6 per sheet)
8. Bake 20 to 23 minutes until golden and edges are lightly browned
9. Cool completely on a cookie cooling racks.
