3 (6 ounce) packages semi-sweet Chocolate morsels
1 (14 ounce) can of Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk (Not evaporated milk)
Dash of salt
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
½ cup chopped nuts, optional
1. In heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt morsels with Eagle Brand. Remove from heat; stir in remaining ingredients.
2. Spread evenly into wax paper-lined 8-inch square pan.
3. Chill 2 to 3 hours or until firm.
4. Turn fudge onto cutting board; peel off paper and cut into squares.
5. Store loosely covered at room temperature.
White Confettie Fudge:
1. In heavy saucepan, melt 1 ½ pounds white chocolate with Eagle brand; remove from heat.
2. Stir in 1/8 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 cup chopped candied cherries. Proceed as directed. (Makes about 2 ½ pounds)
