Macoroni and Cheese


1/2 c. macoroni
1 T. butter
1 T Flour
dash of salt
2/3 c. milk

Macoroni
1. Bring a saucepan 3/4 full of water to a full boil.
2. Add macaroni ; return to boiling, stirring constantly.
3. Cook 7 to 10 minutes till tender-- drain sauce.
4. In a saucepan, melt butter. Blend in flour, salt and pepper.
5. Add milk; cook and stir till thick and bubbly.
6. Add 2/3 c. American cheese; stir to melt. (8 Slices)
9. In an oven-proof bowl mix the drained macaroni and sauce.
